We don’t have clients, we have partners. Let us show you how we can build your brand in Australia & New Zealand.
A passion for travel has been with me from the get-go: growing up in southern California, I travelled to Japan every couple of years to visit my obaachan (grandmother) and other extended family in Osaka, and after my father moved to Taiwan when I was in junior high school, that destination was added to the biannual family trips as well.
My father instilled a love of people and of nature in me, and I have many fond memories of road trips and camping vacations across California, Nevada, and Arizona, where he would make friends at each place we stopped.
From my mother I learned how to communicate and adapt across different cultures, and the importance of developing deep connections with people.
I spent 4 years living in the beautiful countryside of Shizuoka, Japan, taking as many opportunities as I could to travel across the country, from Okinawa and Kyushu in the south up to Hokkaido in the north, before relocating to Australia.
My entry into the tourism industry was as the Business Development Manager at Japan National Tourism Organization Sydney Office, where I spent 8 years promoting one of the countries which I am proud to call not only home but part of my heritage. From roadshows and training sessions to hosting fam trips and conducting co-op marketing, working with the trade became my passion.
Before joining Linkd Tourism, I also spent some time at travel trade publication Karryon, developing partnerships and creating trade marketing campaign plans with our partners across the entire travel industry.
I am proud to now represent a portfolio of incredible destinations and products with Linkd Tourism and am excited to continue my passion of destination marketing and working with the amazing travel trade in Australia and New Zealand.
