Melissa has over 20 years’ experience in the New Zealand Travel and Tourism industry, working in Sales, Key Account Management, and Business Development across airlines, cruise wholesale, car rental, and hotels. She has held roles with respected brands such as DriveAway, Hertz, The Hotel Britomart, and CPG Hotels, and holds a Certificate in Travel and Tourism Studies. Travel has always been Mel’s passion, and she feels privileged to have enjoyed such a rewarding and varied career.
Since joining Linkd Tourism, Melissa is excited to represent JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organisation) and Aqua Aston Hospitality in Hawaii, focusing on training the New Zealand travel trade to increase awareness and product knowledge for these two incredible destinations.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys walking, hiking, and going to the gym, as well as sharing coffee with friends and family at her favourite cafe. She is also a keen singer and enjoys being part of her local community choir.
