Business Development Manager
Gold Coast, Melbourne or Sydney (Hybrid) • Travel, Tourism, Marketing, Trade • 30 Hours, 4 Days per Week
Are you a relationship-builder, a natural connector and someone who thrives in the travel and tourism space? Linkd Tourism is growing, and we’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in either Sydney or the Gold Coast.
This role can be full time, or part time at a minimum of 30 hours across 4 days, depending on the right candidate.
Travel is part of the job, with approximately five domestic trips per year expected to support trade activity, sales missions and client events.
What the role looks like
You’ll work across a mix of sales, trade engagement, events and partnership development. One day you might be presenting to a major travel retailer, the next you’ll be supporting a sales mission or uncovering new business opportunities that elevate our clients’ presence in market.
You’ll be the brand custodian for the destinations you represent, working closely with our trade, marketing and PR teams to deliver exceptional results.
What we’re looking for
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- National-level sales or business development experience in the travel industry
- A talent for building strong relationships across trade, wholesale, airlines and tourism boards
- Confident communication and presentation skills
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- A growth mindset, collaborative approach and a genuine love for this industry
- The ability to juggle sales activity, reporting, marketing initiatives and events with ease
- A self-starter mentality and a drive to exceed revenue targets
